DESCRIPTION

Grades: 9th-12th Grade
Duration: Two (1) hour sessions. Teachers can sign up for a 1-hour Breeding and Gestation session and/or a 1 hour Farrow to Finish program. If teachers opt to do both sessions they can do them on one day back to back or on separate days.

Hosted by the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center and sponsored by the LEAP Foundation, Swine Industry Experience is a virtual program designed to teach students in grades 9-12 every phase of swine production. This program and additional lessons are designed around 9th-12th grade standards.
