From the North
- Via I-65 (Chicago, IL)
Take Exit 119 to West 38th Street. Continue 4.5 miles and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be on your left. - Via I-69 (Fort Wayne, IN)
I-69 becomes Binford Boulevard in Indianapolis. After 6 miles, Binford Boulevard becomes Fall Creek Parkway. From Fall Creek Parkway, turn Right on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be on your right.
From the South
- Via I-65 (Louisville, KY)
Merge onto I-70 East. Take Exit 85B to North Keystone Avenue. Turn Left on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be ahead on your right.
From the East
- Via I-70 (Columbus, OH)
Take Exit 85 to Keystone Avenue and turn Right. Turn Left on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be ahead on your right. - Via I-74 (Cincinnati, OH)
Merge onto I-465 North. Take Exit 44A to I-70 West. Take Exit 85 to Keystone Avenue and turn Right. Turn Left on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be ahead on your right.
From the West
- Via I-70 (St. Louis, MO)
Take Exit 85B to North Keystone Avenue. Turn Left on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be ahead on your right. - Via I-74 (Danville, IL)
Merge onto I-465 North. Take Exit 17 to West 38th Street. Turn Right on West 38th Street and continue 7 miles to the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center on your left.
Parking
The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center has more than 7,000 paved spaces on 250 acres, so visitors are encouraged to leave plenty of time to access events and shows. There is an $8 facility charge per vehicle for events at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. Cash and credit cards are accepted, so please have your payment ready when you arrive.
The main entrances include:
- Gate 1 off of 38th Street
- Gate 6 off of Fall Creek Parkway
Depending on the number of events for the weekend, you may not exit where you entered. Check the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center map below to become familiar with the streets surrounding the grounds (i.e. 42nd Street). Unless specifically reserved for an event, parking may not be adjacent to your final destination.
Please follow the directions of parking attendants when entering the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. When parking in the Infield, please use pedestrian tunnels to access activities.
If you require additional accessibility or use a mobility device, please use the tunnel covered by awnings at the southwest corner of the infield.
ADA parking is available throughout the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. There may be times when temporary or “special event” ADA parking is created to support large crowds. Please look for signage and parking attendants to assist. Download the ADA parking map here.
Parking may be available in the lots just south of the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center off of 38th Street. Parking attendants and/or signage will note when available. Parking plans for the weekend may necessitate use of these lots.
VIP and valet parking may be available for specific events – as requested by particular shows. Please look for signage or advance notice from event promoter via email or social media. Additional fees may apply.
Shuttle Rides
The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center offers complimentary Shuttle Rides for all guests. Shuttles are not available on every weekend. Please check your desired events to see if shuttle service will be available.

IndyGo Public Transportation
IndyGo Routes 4 & 39 will bring you just steps away from the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center main entrance on 38th Street. Fare is $1.75 per ride or $4 for an all-day pass. Youth 18 and under and people 65 and older are eligible for reduced fare with proper ID. Plan your public transit trip to the Fair at www.IndyGo.net.

Transportation Options
Public Transportation
IndyGo is the city’s public transit provider and Routes 4 and 39 directly serve the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. Visit IndyGo.net for trip planning services.
Bicycles
The Fairgrounds is situated by the Monon Trail and other bike/pedestrian trails. There are available parking spots dedicated to bicyclists in front of the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. During the Indiana State Fair, bike parking is located off the Monon Trail in the historic train depot area managed by Pedal & Park.
