Hello Teachers!

In accordance with Governor Holcomb’s order regarding large non-essential gatherings, the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center’s Education Department is suspending its spring field trip program for the next 45 days due to COVID-19.

At this time, we are planning to resume scheduled field trips on or after April 27, however, we will continue to monitor and communicate if the suspension of field trips is prolonged. While our spring semester is nearing capacity, we will work to reschedule trips scheduled from March 16 – April 24, if possible. This could include extending our semester past the current May 22 end date as schools potentially adjust their calendars.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however the safety and health of our guests, staff and community are our top priority.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

The Youth Ag Education Program at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center is so much more than a field trip. It’s a place where students, teachers and families get an up-close, hands-on look at Indiana’s agricultural industry. Designed to fit into any school curricula, our field trip programming drives home the importance of agriculture with fun and easy to understand lessons.
