Requesting Media Credentials 

Applications for media credentials are now open to personnel currently working in print, online or broadcast news media producing original content for the purpose of reporting on the 2019 Indiana State Fair, August 2-18 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, 1202 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205.

Once an application has been received, a confirmation email will be sent regarding its status. Submitting an application does not guarantee its approval as requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

To receive credentials by mail, you must apply by Friday, July 26, 2019. Credentials requested after July 26th will need to be picked up at the Indiana State Fairgrounds’ Communications Building located at 1202 E 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205. Please call ahead to schedule a pick-up time. All media credentials MUST be picked up by Thursday, August 1st. For more information, contact:

Gate Hours

Sunday – Thursday: 9AM – 9PM
Friday – Saturday: 9AM – 9:30PM
Opening Day Friday, August 2: 6AM – 9:30PM


Gate admission tickets will not be sold or accepted after the gates close.

Building & Exhibit Hours

Daily: 9AM – 9PM

Gate Admission Tickets

Advanced Discount Tickets: $8 (+ convenience fee) if purchased before August 1, 2019, at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum Box Office or online here.

General Admission Tickets: $13.00 if purchased after August 1, 2019

Children 5 years of age and younger: FREE
