Young bakers, start your mixers! In this sweet new showdown, kids and teens will compete to bake their best cookies from scratch. Sponsored by King Arthur Baking Company, this contest is all about creativity, confidence, and cookie magic.

Contest Description:
King Arthur Baking Company is sponsoring a Youth Recipe Contest. Every exhibitor will make the same recipe which is typed after the contest description.
Contest Rules:
- Exhibitors must bring their 12 prepared cookies to the Culinary Arts Department by 11:30am and follow the Fair’s entry guidelines.
- To enter, prepare the following recipe with NO CHANGES. For King Arthur Flour product information visit www.kingarthurbaking.com Birthdate must be listed on the recipe.
- Exhibitor must bring the opened or empty bag of King Arthur Flour or submit a UPC label from the flour bag when he/she submits the entry in the Culinary Arts Department.
- Limit of 1 entry per exhibitor. You must be in grades 1-12 or 17 and under as determined by the school year.
- Cookies must be exhibited on a disposable plate/container with 12 cookies.
Judging Criteria:
- 50% - Taste and Flavor
- 25% - Creativity + Overall Appearance of the Cookies
- 25% - Texture and Consistency
