King Arthur Baking Company is sponsoring an
Everything Bagel & Cheese Scone Contest. Every exhibitor will make the same recipe which is typed after the contest description.

Saturday, August 9 from 9:00 – 11:30 am in the Culinary Arts Department
Judging:
Saturday, August 9 at 12:00pm on the Culinary Arts Stage
PRIZES:
- 1st Place: $75 gift card redeemable at kingarthurbaking.com
- 2nd Place: $50 gift card redeemable at kingarthurbaking.com
- 3rd Place: $25 gift card redeemable at kingarthurbaking.com
Each 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention winner will also receive a ribbon
Contest Rules:
- Entrants must bring 8 Everything Bagel & Cheese Scones to the Culinary Arts Department by 11:30 am and follow the fair’s entry guidelines.
- To enter, prepare the following recipe with NO CHANGES for Everything Bagel & Cheese Scone and place 8 scones on a disposable plate in a plastic zip lock type bag with the entry tag attached with a twisty.
- Exhibitor must bring the opened or empty bag of King Arthur Baking Company flour or submit a UPC label from the flour bag when he/she submits the entry at the Indiana Arts Building. For King Arthur Flour product information, visit www.kingarthurbaking.com
- Limit of 1 entry per exhibitor. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
Judging Criteria:
- 60% - Taste and Flavor
- 15% - Overall Appearance of the Everything Bagel & Cheese Scone
- 25% - Texture and Consistency
