Midway presented by Mattress Firm

Always a thrilling experience, don’t miss the largest Midway in the Midwest at the Indiana State Fair Midway! Including a NEW Roller Coaster – The BulletTrain! The BulletTrain promises to pack a lot of punch into the high-speed thrills.

Subaru Skyride

NEW to the Fair in 2017, this ride returns in 2018 as a trip flying high above Main Street. This must-do tradition at the Fair will show you the best views and allow you to take in a breeze; open daily!

Supreme Drive

The Supreme Drive is a new event at the 2018 Indiana State Fair modeled on the existing Indiana State Fair Grand Drive. The Supreme Drive’s purpose is to recognize the best breeding stock Indiana has to offer by selecting the Supreme and Reserve Supreme 4-H Breeding Ewes, Dairy Females and Gilts under the big lights in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum on Sunday, August 12th at 4PM.

Animal Town presented by Indiana Farm Bureau

Did you know cows are color blind? Ever wonder why a horse’s height is counted in hands? Or why llama’s spit? Find out by visiting Animal Town presented by Indiana Farm Bureau, our NEW interactive animal experience featuring daily chats about the animals found on the farm. Animal Town will include 8 different species of barn yard animals from 9AM – 9PM all 17 days of the Fair!

Ted Allen

Ted Allen of the TV show Chopped, will serve as the Keynote Speaker for the 2018 Harvest Dinner, the annual fundraiser event hosted by the Indiana State Fair Foundation. On Wednesday, August 15, the Fair will host a fun, interactive event with Ted!

Bike to the Fair Day

On Saturday, August 11, at 10AM join Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett on a bicycle ride to the Fair! The ride will launch from Frank and Judy O’Bannon Old Northside Park, 950 East 16th Street, Indianapolis. Save $1 on Fair admission by using Pedal & Park off the Monon Trail.
