The Education Department at the Indiana State
Fairgrounds is currently accepting registrations from groups to work at the
Little Hands on the Farm pres. by Indiana529 exhibit
during the 2024 Indiana State Fair!
Little Hands on the Farm pres. by Indiana529 is an interactive experience attracting over 20,000 child
participants during the Fair each year. Throughout the experience, children
engage in the agricultural process as a farmer would – harvesting crops and
other commodities and doing chores on the farm. Upon completion of their tasks,
children receive money for their work that they can use to buy food at the
grocery store. The State Fair Education Department relies on the service of enthusiastic
workers to interact with guests, run the different stations on the farm and
restock supplies throughout the day.
