An immersive program designed to engage 5th and 6th-grade students in the scientific and cultural phenomenon of the 2024 solar eclipse. Through a combination of pre-event lessons, a live Zoom session, and hands-on post-event activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of moon phases, culturally significant full moon names and their ties to agriculture and the environment, the mechanics of solar and lunar eclipses, and how the 2024 solar eclipse will track across North America.
