Santa hopes to deliver toys to more than 1,000 families in need this holiday season. 12 area YMCAs are collecting new toys through Dec. 13 for the 18th annual YMCA Toy Drive event presented by Tom Wood Automotive Group.

With help from the community, the YMCA hopes to provide 2-3 toys to more than 3,000 children up to age 15 from low-income families and area shelters.
Where and how do I register my family?
This year, the Avondale Meadows YMCA is pre-registering underserved families to receive Christmas toys for youth ages 0 -15 online or in-person.
PRE-REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE – ONLINE
- Visit indymca.org.
- Go to Main Menu.
- Click on Registration & Payment.
- Select Sign In or Create an Account.
If you previously provided your email address to the YMCA to register for program, login. If you are not sure of your password, select “Forgot Your Password?” to update your account.
If you have never provided your email address, select Create New Account. Once your account is set up you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email, then login with your password.
- Once logged in, type “toy drive” in the program search field.
- Select 18th ANNUAL YMCA HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE, then select the Activity (or referring organization), then click Add To My Cart.
PRE-REGISTRATON INSTRUCTIONS – IN-PERSON
Onsite registration is at the Avondale Meadows YMCA, 3908 Meadows Dr. on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 8 – 10 a.m.
Please bring photo ID, birth certificates for each child, and proof of residence.
Must have a valid email address to pre-register in-person or online.
The deadline to pre-register is November 29 or until full.
Families who need holiday assistance must pre-register at indymca.org by Nov. 29 or onsite from 8 – 10 a.m. on Nov. 3 at the Avondale Meadows YMCA. Call (317) 549-9622 for more information.
When and where do I pick up the toys?
Toys will be distributed to families from 8 a.m. – noon on Dec. 15 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center.
